Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was a student at Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student as well as the flautist piano for three years. Lennox was paid a salary and part-time work in order to make ends meet. Lennox was a student in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy in her performance when in comparison to the other students. She began considering other options. Lennox began her career in 1976 in a band called Dragons Playground. She left the band prior to the group's appearance on I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. In this band, she met Dave Stewart and together they created their duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo debut album Diva. The album was released in 1993. The album received a lot of praise from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album was released in the month of November. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favorite blues, jazz, and soul songs from her childhood. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox published Lepidoptera an album of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. This album is a companion piece of her "Now I let it go... art installation that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first self-released album.
